Plastics Specialist Omnico make acquisition to strengthen Northern base

Omnico acquire P L Plastics in Preston and Wigan

Omnico, the leading plastics specialist today acquired the business and staff of PL Plastics Ltd with branches in Preston and Wigan. The announcement follows the company's 19th branch opening in Manchester at the end of last year and forms part of an ongoing expansion programme that will enable Omnico to offer a national service. Karen Isles will remain in her role of General Manager of both branches.

Like Omnico, P L Plastics supply a wide range of plastic building products to the local building, roofing and glazing trades.

Omnico places a great deal of value on customer service and it forms a core part of their training programme for which they were awarded Training Initiative of the Year Award at the Builders' Merchants Awards for Excellence in 2002.
