Omnico Opens New Branch in Manchester Following Record Performance

Omnico, the leading building plastics specialist has opened a new flagship branch on the Oakhill Trading Estate in Worlsley, Manchester. The branch is the latest addition in the Omnico expansion programme, which has seen two new branches opened in the last month. The Manchester branch is a key part of Omnico's ambitious vision of becoming the UK's number one specialist building plastics merchant.

Spencer Priestley, Business Development Manager of Omnico said:

"Manchester's strong local economy provides a really vibrant environment in which the new branch will flourish".

Manchester becomes Omnico's 19th branch, further extending Omnico's coverage toward the North of England.

The new opening is a result of Omnico's most successful year so far. Earlier in the year the company achieved record performance. The strong house building and home improvement market has helped increase sales by 9%.

Managing Director of Omnico, Colin Evans said:

"This year was extremely successful in a tough market. I am delighted that the Omnico staff have risen to the challenge and become even more motivated to drive the business forward. Going forward we are focused on providing our customers with excellent service as well as quality products at competitive prices."

This year Omnico has been appointed as distributors and fabricators of Ultraframe conservatory roofs and introduced a large number of new lines including door panels, patio doors and porches. In addition, Omnico launched Omnisoil, an Own Brand Soil and Waste range to add to its other Own Brand ranges, Omniplas and Omnidrain, making Omnico a true one stop shop for plastic building products.
