Omnico Open New Luton Branch
Just five months after moving their Watford branch to a smart new unit in Greenhill Crescent, Omnico have relocated their Luton branch to stunning new premises in Bilton Way, on the busy Dallow Road Industrial Estate. At 5600 sq.ft plus a full-length mezzanine floor, the branch is spacious to say the least, enabling increased stock holding of all products.
The award winning Ultralite 500 "Roof in a Box" is now stocked in depth at the branch, with the new Elevation Roof available to order. As with all Omnico branches, Ultraframe Conservatory Roofs of all shapes and sizes are available via the in-house fabrication division, which has also recently benefited from a major expansion initiative.
Also new for Omnico Luton is the Celuform range of UPVC Roofline products. As long time partners of Celuform Omnico are delighted to be able to offer this range at Luton alongside the ever popular Omniplas range of cellular products. There is something for everyone at Omnico Luton, with plumbers, groundworkers and general builders benefiting from a vastly increased stock range of the competitive OmniSoil and Omnidrain above and below ground drainage systems.
Moving a branch is always a challenge for any business, but at Omnico they have it down to a fine art, according to Managing Director Colin Evans, " As with Watford, the Luton move, which was carried out entirely in-house, went extremely smoothly, with doors opening for business at the new branch just 24 hours after the old premises closed. The operation was planned with military precision and everyone involved played an important part in achieving our goal, which was getting the new branch open with the minimum disruption to our customers. This move, as with Watford, is a key initiative in our ongoing expansion programme - at both Luton and Watford we already have a loyal customer base and experienced staff to go alongside the newly introduced product ranges, so we are expecting great things."
Omnico will be busy in the months ahead - next on the list is a brand new branch that will be opening in the Abingdon area of Oxfordshire in the summer, with the set-up operation already underway. Business Development Manager Spencer Priestley comments "As my title suggests, my key task is to help keep moving the business forward. There is a great deal of satisfaction to be gained from seeing a branch develop from the inception of the idea to the opening of the doors on the first trading day, whether it is a completely new branch or a relocation. One thing we never do at Omnico is stand still and with Abingdon now beginning to take shape I am already working with Colin and the other Directors on plans for branch number 25."
